About Blitz1v1

Codeforces duels, one shared problem at a time

Quick, fair Codeforces face-offs with nothing to install or configure.

What Blitz1v1 is

Two players see the same problem, automatically picked from Codeforces at the same time. Both try to solve it, and whoever solves it first earns the point. Once a problem is solved, it gets locked, no further submissions will be counted for anyone. After that, a 1-minute break begins. When the break ends, the next problem appears (if there are more in the set), and both players can see the updated scores and continue the battle.

How a duel runs

  1. Go to Arena → Create/ Join Room.
  2. Share the room ID. When both players are ready, press Start to lock in.
  3. Open the shown problem on Codeforces and submit there, no uploads here.
  4. Whoever solves first locks that problem for everyone. A 1-minute break starts, then the next problem appears if the set has more.

Fair-play rules

  • Both players always see the same problem at the same time.
  • Once a player solves, that problem is locked, no more points on it.
  • Every solve triggers a 1-minute cooldown before the next problem arrives.
  • Scores sync live from Codeforces submissions; no manual judging.

Why even beginners can play

  • Plain flow: join a room, read one problem, submit on Codeforces.
  • Just follow the problem statement and use any language Codeforces accepts.
  • Timers and locks are automatic, so you only focus on solving.
